Animal Crossing: New Horizons players have eagerly anticipated the release of the 3.0 update, and it has finally arrived. The update is available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. New Hotel Feature

Who received the hotel during the update?: Players must achieve a 3-star rating for their island to unlock the hotel. Those without a 3-star rating or players who restarted their islands before the update will not have access to the hotel.

Gameplay: Players can design themed hotel rooms for guest villagers. Leila will provide instructions on which theme to use for each room.

Guest Villagers: Once the guest rooms are complete, they will attract new guest villagers to your island.

Flexibility: Players do not need to complete all guest rooms at once.

Hotel Gift Shop

Rewards: After completing a hotel room, players will be rewarded with hotel tickets from Leila.

Redemption: These hotel tickets can be redeemed for various items at the hotel gift shop located in the lobby.

Customization: The clothing displayed in the gift shop can be customized by players to match their island themes or simply for fun!

DIY Request Box

Location: This feature will be introduced by Tom Nook. The DIY request box is located outside the hotel on the boat dock.

Fulfilling Requests: Each DIY request specifies a different item needed for crafting. Once players have crafted the specified item in the required quantity, they can drop it in the box. Kapp’n will deliver the item, and players will receive additional hotel tickets as a reward.
